Abstract
U ovom završnom radu uspoređuju se Euler-Bernoullijeva i Timošenkova teorija savijanja greda, s ciljem definiranja granica njihove primjenjivosti ovisno o omjeru visine i duljine greda. Završni rad sastoji se od nekoliko ključnih dijelova. Prvi dio detaljno opisuje obje gredne teorije, što pruža teorijsku osnovu. U drugom dijelu izvedena je matrica krutosti kroz rješavanje određenih diferencijalnih jednadžbi. Na kraju, u numeričkom dijelu, proračun je proveden metodom konačnih elemenata pomoću programa Abaqus, gdje su ispitani različiti statički sustavi.
Abstract (english)
This thesis compares the Euler-Bernoulli and Timoshenko beam theories, aiming to define the limits of their applicability based on the ratio of beam height to lengh. The tesis consists of several key sections. The first section provides a detailed description of both beam bending theories, offering the theoretical foundation for the analysis. The second section presents the stiffness matrix derived through the solution of specific differential equations. Finally, in the numerical part of the thesis, the analysis was performed using the finite element method in Abaqus, where different static systems were examined.
