Abstract
Zoo vrt Zagreb ustanova je s izrazito širokim područjem djelovanja koja si za cilj postavlja buđenje empatije ljudi prema životinjama svih vrsta i educiranje novih naraštaja o potrebama životinjskog svijeta zbog njegovih promjena kroz desetljeća. Desetogodišnji plan o proširenju Zoološkog vrta završen je 2010. godine. Krajnji cilj proširenja bio bi poboljšavanje uvjeta održavanja, povećanje broja vrsta i jedinki te kvalitetnija ponuda edukacije i zabave za posjetitelje. Jedan od stupnjeva desetogodišnjeg plana odnosi se na izgradnju brenda kako bi se osvjestilo stare i nove posjetitelje o sadržajima i ulozi Zoo vrta u smislu održivosti, edukacije, europske suradnje i zabave. U ovom radu istražit ću viziju i ciljeve ustanove kao klijenta te trenutna stajališta i želje posjetitelja. Na temelju istraživanja zaključit ću koji je optimalan ton komunikacije s vrlo širokom ciljnom skupinom i na temelju toga osmisliti vizualni identitet Zoo vrta te odrediti osnovni smjer daljnje promocije.
Abstract (english)
Zagreb Zoo is an institution with a very broad activity domain. It aims to wake empathy for animals of all kinds and to educate new generations about the needs of wildlife, due to its changes through the decades. The Ten Year Plan to extend the Zoo was completed in 2010. The ultimate goal of this expansion was to improve maintenance conditions, increase the number of species and offer better quality of education and entertainment for visitors. One of ten stages of the plan relates to the construction of a brand with a purpose to awake and instruct old and new visitors on the content and role of the Zoo in terms of sustainability, education, European cooperation and entertainment. In this paper, I will explore the vision and goals of the institution as well as client’s current views and visitors’ expectations. Based on the research I will conclude what would be the optimum tone of communication with a very broad target group and on that basis produce a visual identity for the Zoo as well as determine one main direction for further promotions.
