Abstract
Manipulacija fotografijom relativno je nova vrsta umjetnosti. U ovom diplomskom radu su obrađeni mnogi načini i oblici manipulacije fotografijom koji su se pojavili kroz njen razvoj. Najveća pozornost pridana je manipulaciji fotografijom u novom, digitalnom, dobu. Objašnjene su tehničke i umjetničke mogućnosti i prednosti digitalne fotografije te su povučene usporedbe s postupcima koji su se koristili u klasičnoj fotografiji kako bi se dobili isti ili slični fotografski efekti. Obrađena je i tema odnosa fotografske manipulacije i dizajna kroz povijest i danas pri čemu je pozornost usmjerena na kontaverze koje su se pojavile primjenom fotografskih manipulacija u dizajnu, osobito novinskom dizajnu. Pozornost je pridana i mišljenju fotografskih stručnjaka o granicama iza kojih fotografija postaje fotografska manipulacija.
Abstract (english)
Photographic manipulation is a rather young art direction. This work elaborates the ways and forms of manipulating photos trough history. Maximal attention is given to photo manipulation in digital times. All of the technical and artistic advantages and possibilities of digital photography are clarified and compared to the procedures used in classical photography to gain same or similar photographic effects. The subject of photo manipulation and design relations was also alluded with special attention given to controversy that arise with the use of photo manipulations in design, especially newspapers design. Some attention was also given to elaboration of the opinions made by photographic experts about the limit at witch a photo becomes a photo manipulation.
