In diploma work fashion is studied as a new and transient accepted form of life, and fashion photography as a type of photography that is dedicated to fashion, not only clothes but all fashion accessories, fashion brands, designers, etc. Fashion photography is commonly used in advertising purposes, in order to sell the product. In this work is analyzed the effect of different periods of fashion photography, and photographers, today's fashion photography and applied art photography in general. From its beginnings to today, fashion photography has developed its own aesthetic, where was at first the "uniform" photos of models in the frame, and moved in a variety of exotic locations with a handful of props that make it especially interesting. In diploma work is described the origin of fashion photography and its development ever since. It is tracking the development of this type of photography through the development of photographic techniques. As they evolved through history photographic techniques so developed in parallel fashion photography, and photography in general. In addition to photographic techniques were invented and new ways of printing, new ways of advertising, which has had a significant impact on the development and fashion photography. Through decades of change the ideals of beauty and body, keeping up with that change in the various social and artistic styles influenced the fashion photography, so mention the most important photographers of fashion photography past and the present, and through their work traces the influence on each other.
