Abstract
Ovaj diplomski rad istražuje stanje najava za knjigu u svijetu i posebno u Hrvatskoj. Istražit će se autorstvo, konceptualizacija, proces izrade i teorija iza stvaranja najave za knjigu. Cilj diplomskog je ući dublje u implikacije prikazivanja medija knjige pomoću potpuno drugačijeg medija – videa i pokretne grafike. U posljednjem poglavlju se na konkretnom primjeru obrađuje izrada najave za knjigu od ideje do realizacije s posebnim naglaskom na troškove izrade i današnje mogućnosti izrade složenih najava u nisko budžetnoj produkciji.
Abstract (english)
This thesis will explore the state of book trailers worldwide with a special focus on Croatia. It will explore subjects like authorship, conceptualization, realization and the theory of making a successful book trailer. This thesis explores the implications of representing one medium – the book, with a completely different medium – video and motion graphics. The case study in the final chapter shows the making of the book trailer ʻPale Blue Dotʼ with attention being given to cost and todayʼs possibilities of making a complex book trailer whilst still keeping a low budget production.
