Abstract
Vizualni identitet za Opservatorij Višnjan podrazumijeva teorijsko istraživanje, na temelju kojeg slijedi izrada idejnih rješenja logotipa, ankete na temu odabira logotipa, konkurentnih opservatorija i zvjezdarnica, izrada knjige standarda te primjena logotipa. U teorijskom dijelu diplomskog rada biti će definicija logotipa, vizualnog identiteta, te objašnjeni primjeri logotipa i vizualnih identiteta na polju astronomije (NASA, UK Space Agency). Istražiti će se karakteristike koje logotip mora komunicirati, te na temelju proučenog stvoriti identitet Opservatorija Višnjan. Hrvatska astronomija pod kojom se uglavnom podrazumijevaju radovi opservatorija, zvjezdarnica, planetarija, te studiji astrofizike u Splitu i Prirodoslovno-matematičkog fakulteta u Zagrebu, neki s više a neki s manje uspjeha i odjeka, osim znanosti imaju još jedan zajednički nazivnik, a to je manjak eksponiranosti i marketinga. S obzirom na omogućenu suradnju s Opservatorijem Višnjan, cilj je izraditi vizualni identitet opservatorija, na taj način vizualno istaknuti jedan od uspješnijih znanstvenih objekata, kako u Hrvatskoj, tako i na Europskoj razini te time popularizirati opservatorij i tako dati mali doprinos Hrvatskoj astronomiji.
Abstract (english)
Visual identity for the Višnjan Observatory involves theoretical investigation, based on which ideas for preliminary logos follows; surveys on the logo selection and competitive astronomical observatories; development of visual guidelines and uses of the logo. Theoretical part of the thesis consists of a definition of a logo, visual identities, and discussed examples of logos and visual identities in the field of astronomy (NASA, the UK Space Agency). Characteristics that the logo needs to communicate will be examined, upon which the identity for Višnjan Observatory will be created. Croatian astronomy which mainly includes works of observatories, planetariums, and astrophysics studies in Split and the Faculty of Science in Zagreb, some with more and some with less success and impact, have another common denominator, except science, and that is the lack of exposure and marketing. With regard to enabled cooperation with Višnjan Observatory, the goal is to create a visual identity of the observatory, visually highlight one of the most successful scientific facilities, both on Croatian and European level, popularize observatory and thus give a small contribution to Croatian astronomy.
