Graphic technology generally involves the preparation, printing and processing of graphic materials, but graphics technology business has not deals only with the formation and reproduction of text and images for long. Today, parts of prepress largely connected with the computer publishing to the target audience were available on the screen with the possibility of further processing or printing. Digital or electronic publications are a combination of conventional information displayed on the screen, but the possibility of presenting significantly different from those printed. Static text can be replaced by audio or video material, more images can be displayed through the galleries without losing space for other content, inserting animation and interactive content to retain the attention of users. In this work will be presented digital publications through its advantages and disadvantages, and describe tools and methods of making. The aim is to explore how digital forms of publications changed reading habits within the Croatian and whether children are ready to learn through e-system and how much is available. Past experience shows that children mobile devices commonly used for entertainment purposes. The assumption is that preschool children very well deal with the present tasks on a mobile device, but that surveys show that educational programs are used minimally or not at all their available mobile phone at home.
