Abstract (english) For each design is very important that the conceptual design is exactly and precisely trans-ferred into a finished product. In graphic design, along with the symbol and the words of a certain product and illustration, equally important is color that will complement the product. For the successful marketing of the brand, color plays a crucial role in the recognition of the product. However, how many times happened that color in digital form looked exactly as in-tended while the printed color looked completely different from the desired color. Deformation of color may occur due to a variety of parameters that needs to be set when creating a project in one of the creative software intended for graphic design, as well as the errors that may occur in the press and many other segments of the realization of project. In this paper is examined the issue of differences in the color prints, which is conditional on selecting a color profile to be controlled using Color Management when creating the project in digital form in one of the software intended for creative design. This paper explored which profile suits best for the most common techniques of digital printing today, ink yet and electrophotography. For research was used and compared five profiles: Fogra 39, Fogra 27, Photoshop 5 Default CMYK, Euroscale Coated V2 and U.S. Web Coated (SWOP) V2. The research is based on the basic model of color printing, CMYK. Used method of this research is a visual and measurement method for estimating deformation of colors. Visual and measurement method estimates which color profile is best suited for which printing technique and where is formed least and largest deformation of individual color. The purpose of this paper is to draw designers and all others in the printing industry and beyond attention to the occurrence of deformation of colors that can be reduced or avoided by using specific color profiles, depending on the particular color printing technique that will be used in the realization of a finished project. The hypothesis of this paper is that the color pro-file Fogra best suited for output devices. Throughout the mentioned two methods of research were obtained results showed in CIE L * a * b * system, where is shown minimum and big-gest difference in a particular color. Also is shown RTV for each color.
