Abstract
Portret, odnosno općenitije fotografija ljudskog lika, je od početka fotografije do danas jedan od najčešćih fotografskih motiva te, ujedno, i motiv koji direktno potiče razvoj fotografije tj. različitih fotografskih sustava i fotografske tehnike. S obzirom na svoju učestalost, fotografski se portreti danas konzumiraju u različitim uvjetima što utječe na njihov doživljaj. Kako je niz ispitivanja pokazao da čak i male promjene vrijednosti R, G i B kanala (crveni, zeleni i plavi kanal) pri reprodukciji boje kože bitno utječu na doživljaj portreta, promatranje u različitim uvjetima, također, može utjecati na percepciju i semantičku vrijednost, tj. poruku, koji portretna fotografija prenosi. Ovo se podjednako odnosi na galerijske, tj. fotografije namijenjene izložbenoj prezentaciji kao i na fotografije namijenjene promociji nekog proizvoda, ideje ili osobe. U oba se slučaja fotografije, potencijalno, konzumiraju u različitim svjetlosnim uvjetima definiranim, pored ostalog, temperaturom svjetla. U ovom se radu ispituje mogućnost kompenzacije tako nastalih metamerijskih promjena boja kože uz standardne izvore svjetla konzumiranja fotografije ciljanim promjenama R, G i B vrijednosti digitalnog zapisa fotografske slike.
Abstract (english)
Portrait or, more generally, picture of the human figure is one of the most common photographic motifs since the beginning of photography and at the same time, the motive that directly encourages the development of photography ie. different photographic systems and photographic techniques. Due to their frequency, photographic portraits today are consumed in a variety of conditions influencing how we experience them. As number of studies have shown, even small changes in the value of R, G and B channels (red, green and blue channel) in the reproduction of skin colour significantly affect the experience of the portrait; observing in different conditions may also affect the perception and semantic value, ie. a message, that portrait photography transfers. This applies equally to the gallery photographs, ie. photos intended for the exhibition presentation and the photos for promotion of a product, idea or person. In both cases photographs are potentially consumed in different lighting conditions defined, among other things, by light temperature. This paper examines the possibility of compensation of the resulting metameric changes of skin colour with standard light sources of photograph consumption with targeted changes of R, G, and B values of the digital record of the photographic image.
