Abstract Svrha diplomskog rada je upoznati se s vrstama i ulogom zaliha u poduzeću te različitim modelima upravljanja zalihama. Proizvodna poduzeća primjenjuju različite tehnike u upravljanju svojim zalihama. Usvojene prakse imaju značajan utjecaj na povrat, profitabilnost i volumen prodaje. Proizvodne tvrtke koje učinkovito primjenjuju takve prakse imaju izvrsne financijske rezultate. Sustav upravljanja zalihama igra vitalnu ulogu u poduzećima. Tvrtke uglavnom pokušavaju zadržati minimalnu količinu proizvoda koji će olakšati praćenje poslovanja. Da bi tiskarska poduzeća ostala konkurentna, moraju se modernizirati, biti tehnološki superiorna drugim sličnim ustanovama, pratiti trendove u industriji te koristiti aktualne mjere snižavanja troškova. Jedna od tih mjera se odnosi na strategije upravljanja zalihama. Zalihe imaju ključnu ulogu u poslovanju svakog proizvodnog ili uslužnog poduzeća, a predstavljaju određenu količinu sirovina, materijala ili gotovih proizvoda čija je uloga održavanje kontinuiteta proizvodnje te opskrbe krajnjih potrošača. Kako bi se smanjili troškovi njihovog držanja te omogućila neometana proizvodnja i prodaja konačnih proizvoda potrebno je učinkovito upravljanje zalihama. U tu je svrhu razvijeno nekoliko modela koji omogućuju praćenje i kontroliranje razine zaliha, određivanje veličine narudžbi za njihovo obnavljanje te predviđanje budućih tržišnih zahtjeva. Dakle, osnovni cilj upravljanja zalihama, jest imati odgovarajuće količine materijala dostupnih za zadovoljavanje potreba kupaca, uz istovremeno minimiziranje troškova njihovog držanja. U diplomskom će radu biti opisani pojam i vrste zaliha i njihov značaj za poslovanje te tradicionalni i suvremeni modeli njihovog upravljanja. Zatim će, na primjeru tiskarskog poduzeća Slobodna Dalmacija Print d.o.o., biti prikazan proces uvođenja nekih od suvremenih modela upravljanja zalihama. Utvrdit će se korisnost uvođenja modela za organizaciju. Osnovna pretpostavka jest da će praćenje zaliha i njihovo upravljanje kroz korišteni model doprinijeti smanjenju5 troškova za poduzeće te smanjiti eventualno nakupljanje ili nedostatak zaliha materijala, a što može imati negativan utjecaj na proizvodnju.
Abstract (english) The purpose of this graduate paper is to get acquainted with the types and roles of inventories in the company and the various inventory management models. Manufacturing firms apply various techniques in the management of their inventories. The practices adopted have a significant impact on returns, profitability and volume of sales. Manufacturing firms that efficiently apply these practices have an excellent financial performance. The inventory management system plays a vital role in a companies. The companies mostly try out keeping a minimum stock of products which will help in tracking business easily. In order for printing companies to remain competitive, they must be modernized, technologically superior to other similar institutions, keep up with industry trends and use current cost cutting measures, one of which concerns stock management strategies. Stocks play a key role in the business of any manufacturing or service company and represent a certain amount of raw materials, materials or finished products whose role is to maintain the continuity of production and supply of end-consumers. In order to reduce the costs of their holding and to enable unprofessional production and sales of finished products, it is necessary to effectively manage inventory. For this purpose, several modes have been developed that allow monitoring and control of the inventory level, determination of the volume and size of orders for their renewal and foreseeing future market demands. The primary goal of inventory management, therefore, is to have the right amount of materials available to meet customer needs, while minimizing the cost of keeping them. The graduate paper will describe the term and the type of inventory and their significance for business as well as traditional and modern models of their management. Then, on the example of the printing company Slobodna Dalmacija Print d.o.o., will be presented the process of introducing some of the inventory management models. The usefulness of introducing an organization model will be determined. The basic assumption is that inventory tracking and7 management through the use of the model will contribute to reducing the cost of the company and reduce the potential accumulation or lack of inventory, which may have a negative impact on production.
