This graduate thesis is going to try to provide a satistying explanation for a specific way of shooting videos and taking pictures with the device known as centriphone. The first part of the thesis, history of photography and video recording will be briefly explained, which will be a great introduction to the main topic of the thesis that will then be analyzed in detail. Description of the centriphone starts with its invention, in other words, with the biography of Nicolas Vuignier, a skier and filmmaker who invented this device. The thesis will also briefly describe what the device actually is, how it is used and how it can be used. Similar devices such as selife-stick or quadcopter will becompared to centriphone to illustrate and understand the purpose of such devices and the advantages and disadvantages of each will be listed. In the practical part of this paper, the author will describe the process of developing centriphone by himself and list various problems and guidelines that need to be taken into account. These descriptions will include some basic shooting features using the centriphone and provide insight into the different camera action settings one should pay attention to while using the device. At the very end of the thesis, the whole idea of making and using centriphone will be presented according to its analysis.
