Abstract
U ovom radu istraživat će se utjecaj animacija grafičkog korisničkog sučelja (GUI) u svrhu boljeg i zanimljivijeg korisničkog iskustva (UX). Razvojem je došlo do sve većeg naglaska na grafičkom korisničkom sučelju koje koristi vidljive elemente procesa izvršavanja radnji kod aplikacija kako bi one bile što jednostavnije i intuitivne. Korištenjem grafičkog korisničkog sučelja gube se posrednici kao tipkovnica te time korištenje samog sučelja i za manje napredne korisnike postaje jednostavnije. Grafičko korisničko sučelje kombinira grafiku, ikone, animacije i druge elemente, te u mnogim slučajevima, jednostavno povlačenje i spuštanje korisničkog sučelja te trenutno pruža povratne informacije. Animirani elementi sučelja poboljšavaju korisničko iskustvo i pomažu u upravljanju protokom korisnika kroz aplikaciju. To otkriva funkcionalnost i proces korisničkog sučelja mnogo više od statičnog teksta. Kao i bilo koji drugi element dobrog dizajna, korisničko sučelje trebalo bi imati svrhu bez da bude previše primjetljivo. Animacije koje se koriste trebaju biti funkcionalne i intuitivne iznad svega ostaloga. Na temelju takvih animacija korisnicima će biti lakše i zabavnije koristiti aplikaciju, te će se kod korisnika pobuditi zanimanje za daljnje korištenje aplikacije.
Abstract (english)
This thesis deals with the impact of graphic user interface (GUI) animations related to enhancement of user experience (UX). The development of applications gave emphasis to GUI that uses visible elements of action execution process in applications in order for them to be as simple and intuitive as they possibly can. By using GUI, middlemen such as the keyboard become redundant, which in turn makes the GUI simpler to use, even for less advanced users. GUI combines graphics, icons, animations and other elements, and in many cases even a simple dragging and dropping the user interface, and it provides instant feedback. Animated GUI elements improve user experience and help navigate the user through the application. This reveals the functionality and the process of user interface far better than static text. As any element of well executed graphic design, so the user interface has to have a purpose without being overly conspicuous. The animations used should be functional and, above all, intuitive. With those kinds of animations, it will be easier for the user to use the application and it will make the application more engaging.
