Abstract
U ovome se radu, na temelju obrađenih šest romana prvoga kola biblioteke „Hit junior“, interpretira i analizira muški lik i maskulinitet u tim djelima. Rad je koncipiran u dva dijela: prvi se odnosi na teorijski dio, dok se drugi dio odnosi na interpretaciju. Dakle, u prvome se dijelu definira pojam adolescentska književnost i objašnjava se terminološki problem (javlja se pluralnost nazivlja), govori se o problemu postavljanja granice između dječje i adolescentske književnosti (marginalizacija adolescentske književnosti u odnosu na dječju), te je prikazan historijski pregled adolescentske književnosti u Hrvatskoj i inozemstvu. U drugome se dijelu rada, na temelju šest romana prvoga kola biblioteke „Hit junior“ (Cecile Bødker, Crni svijet. Pripovijest o mladome Etiopljaninu; Maria Gripe, Zujak leti u sumrak; Branko Hofman, Ringo Star; Jo Pestum, Mačak pruža pandže; Dubravko Jelačić-Bužimski, Sportski život letećeg Martina; Angelika Kutsch, Ništa ne pada s neba) prikazuju i analiziraju muški likovi i njihove maskuline karakteristike, te odnosi (ne)moći na relaciji muškarac-žena.
Abstract (english)
This thesis, based on the treatments of the six novels from the first column of the „Hit junior“ library, attempts to interpret and analyze masculinity and the male figure which are presented in these literary works. This thesis is conceived in two parts: the first relates to the theoretical portion, while the second refers to its interpretation. In the first part of this thesis, the term young adult (YA) literature is defined and the terminological problem (i.e. terminological plurality) is explained. Furthermore, the problem of setting the boundary between children's literature and YA literature (the marginalization of YA literature in relation to children's literature) is explored, and a historical review is given of both YA literature in Croatia and abroad. In the second part of this thesis, based on the six novels of the first column of the „Hit junior“ library (Cecile Bødker, Crni svijet. Pripovijest o mladome Etiopljaninu; Maria Gripe, Zujak leti u sumrak; Branko Hofman, Ringo Star; Jo Pestum, Mačak pruža pandže; Dubravko Jelačić-Bužimski, Sportski život letećeg Martina; Angelika Kutsch, Ništa ne pada s 45 neba), a review and analysis is given of male characters and masculinity, as well as the strengths and weaknesses in the relationships of men and woman.
