Abstract
Retorika je umijeće dojmljivog, uvjerljivog i učinkovitog komuniciranja koje može biti usmeno ili pismeno. Takvo komuniciranje za cilj ima uvjeriti, motivirati i utjecati na određenu publiku u određenoj situaciji na govorniku željeni način. Retorika koja se koristi u medijima je od velikog značaja jer mediji stvaraju sliku svijeta u očima publike, utječu na njihovu percepciju stvarnosti, te stvaraju očekivanja o tome što je uobičajeno, očekivano i normalno. U ovom radu će se predstaviti retorika u hrvatskim medijima za vrijeme Jugoslavije koja je bila strogo kontrolirana i u službi režima, koja je promovirala komunističku ideologiju i stvorila kult ličnosti od Josipa Broza Tita. Također, u radu će se predstaviti i preokret u retorici u hrvatskom novinstvu koji je započelo pokretom Hrvatskog proljeća.
Abstract (english)
Rhetoric is the art of impressive, persuasive and effective communicating which can be both oral and written. This kind of communicating aims to persuade, motivate or influence certain group of people in a certain situation, in a way that orator intended. Rhetoric used in the media is of the great importance and the reason for that is that the media has the power to shape the image of the world; affect people's perception of the reality and create expectations about what is common, expected or normal. This paper will demonstrate the rhetoric of the croatian media in Yugoslavia which was strictly controlled and in the service of the regimen. What is more, it was used to promote communist ideology and to create cult of personality out of Josip Broz Tito. On top of that, this paper will also show the shift in rhetoric of croatian media which started with The Croatian Spring.
