The communication process of information transfer has been further enhanced by digitization. New systems and technical prerequisites have appeared that enable the rapid flow of information, and this is extremely important in business organizations. There are many channels of communication and it is necessary to choose the best in order for communication in a particular situation to be successful. Large organizations mostly choose the intranet, and the success of internal organization often depends on the success of internal communication. The aim of this paper is to present internal communication as the basis of the organization's business success and to analyze the digitalization of internal communication and employee experience on the example of Addiko banka. The first part of this paper deals with the basic theoretical assumptions of communication science. Within the framework of this science, public relations has also developed, whose role, according to the simplest definition, is to maintain successful communication between an organization and its publics. Since this paper focuses on the intranet as a communication tool by which an organization provides information to its internal publics, we have also presented the internal communication systems and the channels through which it takes place. In the research part of the paper we presented the internal communication system of Addiko banka and based on a semi-structured interview with the manager of Corporate Communications of Addiko banka and the results of an anonymous survey on employee satisfaction with internal communication, we concluded that internal communication success leads to employee satisfaction.
