Internal communication is key to the successful operation of an organization because it enables a transparent and efficient transfer of information between management and employees, which increases trust and cooperation within the team. Quality internal communication contributes to better information among employees, which ultimately improves their productivity and engagement. One of the methods of internal communication is using an internal portal. The internal portal is a place for controlled and central management of information, enables permanent use and storage of information, and is also a place where employees can collaborate and communicate, both with each other and the organization itself. The main goal of this research was to present internal communications, specifically the internal portal of the organization IT Sistemi - Nove tehnologije d.o.o. In addition, the paper also includes an examination of employee job satisfaction, experience, and satisfaction of employees with using the intranet, and answers the question of whether there is a connection between job satisfaction and the use of the intranet. The research was conducted using two methods: the internal portal was analyzed using the qualitative method of a case study, and the employees' satisfaction was examined using the quantitative survey method. The results showed that the internal portal and communication are timely, reliable, relevant, and efficient and that IT Sistemi with its internal portal can be an example of good practice for other organizations that strive to improve their communication processes. However, it was also shown that there is always room for improvement and that the organization should work on the balance of formal and informal content on the intranet. The results of the survey confirmed that IT Sistemi employees are satisfied with their jobs, but that there is no significant correlation between job satisfaction and intranet use. The practical implications of the obtained results and limitations of the research are listed in the paper.
