Abstract
Android je najpopularnija platforma za pametne telefone i tablete sa više milijunskom bazom korisnika. Android aplikacije mogu se razvijati u Linux, Windows i OS X razvojnoj okolini. U ovom radu ću opisati arhitekturu Android operacijskog sustava, odnosno funkcije i uloge glavnih 5 slojeva operacijskog sustava. Opisati ću i uvjete za razvoj aplikacija u Windows okolini, alate potrebne za razvoj aplikacija, te faze razvoja aplikacije. Također ću razviti aplikaciju za Android koja će biti opisana i priložena kao rezultat rada.
