Majewski syndrome belongs to the group of Primordial Dwarfism syndrome. It a rare disease and only 150 people in the world suffers from it. It is a congenital type of syndrome that is recognized by abnormally short stature at all stages of life and is characterized by dwarfism, a high possibility of heart attacks, as well as hyperactivity. In the Republic of Croatia, only one boy is diagnosed with Majewski syndrome. The example of his inclusion is the main topic of this paper. Children with special needs should not be excluded from the society, and people should always work on their inclusion. The biblical definition interprets the man as the crown of creation and the image of God. From a catechetical point of view, children with special needs are those who are, in a special way, always a challenge to work with. A family is the fundamental place of acceptance of a person with special needs. The parish community and schools are places where persons with special needs must find love and acceptance for their growth and progress, not pity. Children with special needs thus represent the part of the Church who form it in a special way. Children with Majewski syndrome have their rights just as all other children. It is necessary to recognize their needs and act based on them. Dwarfism and hyperactivity must not be an obstacle to the inclusion of such children. Although of smaller stature, their intellectual development does not lag behind the ones of their peers. This should be the reason and motivation to constantly encourage the inclusion of children with Majewski syndrome in the life of the parish community, school, and also in all areas of life.
