Abstract
Čovjek je duhovno biće. On vjeruje u vrhovno biće koje ovisno o vjerovanju naziva različitim imenima. Da bi se raslo u duhovnom području, kao i u drugim područjima potrebno je vježbati se. Da bi neki sportaš bio vrhunski u svome sportu potrebno je da svoje tijelo podvrgne raznim fizičkim treninzima i vježbama, a duh samodisciplini. Isto tako je i na duhovnom putu, da bi netko postao vrhunski „duhovnik“ potrebno je da prakticira duhovne vježbe. Pred nama se nalaze dva velikana u duhovnom području, Marko Aurelije i Petar Alkantarski. U ovom radu kroz šest poglavlja iznosimo na koji način se provode duhovne vježbe po Marku i Petru i što je sve potrebno za obavljanje duhovnih vježbi. Kada smo se upoznali s njihovim vježbama radimo vremenski skok i odlazimo u postmoderno društvo. U postmoderni pronalazimo nove oblike Markovih i Petrovih duhovnih vježbi kroz filozofsko savjetovanje i e-duhovne vježbe. Kroz ta dva oblika Markove i Petrove duhovne vježbe i danas su vrlo aktualne i imaju svoju zapaženu primjenu u društvu. Zaboravimo na sve predrasude između antičke filozofije i kršćanstva i pogledajmo koliko je više onih dodirnih točki koje nas ujedinjuju, a svatko ih od nas naziva drugačijim imenom.
Abstract (english)
Man is a spiritual being. He believes in a supreme being whom he calls by different names depending on his belief. We need spiritual growth exercises as much as physical workouts. For an athlete to be successful in his sport, he needs to subject his body to physical training and his spirit to self-discipline. It is the same on the spiritual path. Excellence in spiritual leadership requires regular spiritual retreats. Through the six chapters of this work, we present the spiritual exercises of two outstanding figures, Marcus Aurelius and Saint Peter of Alcántara. We provide retreat guidelines and requirements. Then we reflect on the use of spiritual retreat in postmodern society. In postmodernity, we find new forms of Marcus's and Peter's spiritual exercises through philosophical counseling and e - spiritual exercises. Due to these two forms, their spirituality is still very relevant today and broadly applicable in society. We should forget all prejudices between ancient philosophy and Christianity and accept that what unites us is greater than what divides us, whatever name we call it.
