Abstract
Cilj rada je bio razrada podjele jedara i njihova uloga, odnosno uvjeta u kojima se koriste. Da bi se došlo do cilja postavilo se pitanje o samoj ulozi jedra odnosno, koje jedro koristiti u kojim uvjetima. Glavni problem je, neinformiranost ljudi o korištenju različitih jedra, zbog nedostatka dovoljne količine informacija i pristupačnost istih. Danas postoje jedra koja pokrivaju određeni upadni kut vjetra odnosno, za određeni raspon kuta ulaska vjetra u jedro ćemo koristiti posebno jedro. Osim navedenog, navedene su vrste materijala od kojih se jedra izrađuju. Njihove razlike s obzirom na cijenu, izdržljivost te snagu da se odupru odnosno prilagodbe trenutnim vremenskim uvjetima na vodi. Navedeni podaci u radu dobiveni su istraživanjem literature te verbalnim kontaktom sa osobama iz jedrenja.
Abstract (english)
The aim of this paper is to define the division of sails and their roles and conditions in which they are used. To be able to reach this aim, the main topic was the purpose of the sail itself, as different sails are used in different conditions. The main issue is lack of information of the ways in which different sails are used and it is due to insufficient information and inaccessibility. Nowadays there are sails that cover a certain degree wind angles, which means that for a certain angle range of the wind that blows into the sail a specific sail needs to be used. In addition, different materials types are listed. They can differ according to price, durability and strength, in order to withstand or adapt itself to current weather conditions on the sea. The aforementioned data in this paper is obtained through literature research and verbal contact with sailing professionals.
