Abstract
Vibracijski trening cijelog tijela nedavno se popularizirao u fitnesu te je postao tema sve većeg broja istraživanja. Međutim, rezultati istraživanja su kontradiktorni. Iako je većina studija pokazala pozitivne ishode pri korištenju vibracijskog treninga cijelog tijela kao što su pojačana mišićna snaga i jakost, smanjenje potkožne masti, povećanje fleksibilnosti, prevencija i rehabilitacija ozljeda te pomoć u liječenju bolesti, neka istraživanja nisu prikazala trenažni napredak. Naime, neke studije prikazale su i negativne učinke takvog treninga, poput smanjenja osjetljivosti na pritisak dodira u stopalu. Cilj ovog rada je prikazati pozitivne i negativne ishode primjene vibracijskog treninga cijelog tijela, odnosno njegov utjecaj na motoričke i funkcionalne sposobnosti kod raznih populacija.
Abstract (english)
Whole – body vibration training has recently become more popular in Fitness and became the topic to greater number of researches. However, research results are contradictory. Although the most studies presented positive effects of whole – body vibration training as enhancements in muscle strength and power, flexibility, injury prevention, rehabilitation and disease treatment, some researches didn’t find any training progress. Some studies even presented negative effects of such training as reduced plantar foot sensitivity. The aim of this paper was to show positive and negative outcomes of whole – body vibration training intervention on motor and functional abilities in different populations.
