Abstract Nogomet je najmasovniji sport u Republici Hrvatskoj, prilog u tome glasi brojka 69 160 koju
njih 17 pripadaju natjecateljima, a ostalih 17 pripadaju otvorenoj školi. Postavljena je hipoteza
H1; postoji značajna razlika u razini motoričkih sposobnosti između skupine natjecatelja i
2,47; p = 0,02) te TEHLD (t = 3,40; p = 0,00), a nije zabilježena statistički značajna razlika u
testovima SPR5M (t = -0,50; p = 0,62) SPR10M (t = -1,78; p = 0,08) te SKUD (t = 3,40; p
=0,19). Multivarijatnom analizom varijance (ANOVA) utvrđena je statistički značajna razlika
između skupine natjecatelja i otvorene škole (F = 5,336; p = 0,00).
Abstract (english) Football is the most popular sport in the Republic of Croatia, the figure of 69,160 can confirm
that, which consists of registered players from U8 to U19 on 31.12.2020 according to HNS.
This number includes only registered players also known as competitors. Most football clubs
in Croatia are organized in a way that allows taking part for everyone who wants to play this
sport. Since the categories are limited in terms of the number of players, clubs select children
into competitors and non-competitors. The aim of this study was to determine whether there is
a significant difference in the level of motor skills between U12 football players competing and
non-competitors. The sample of respondents consists of 34 football players average age 12,7 ±
3, height 160,33 ± 3,76 cm and weight 46,6 ± 8,92 kg of which 17 are competitors and the other
17 are non-competitors. Hypothesis H1 is set; there is a significant difference in the level of
motor skills between a group of competitors and non-competitors. Sprint tests at 5, 10 and 20
meters, 93639 with a 180° turn, long jump and technique with the left and right foot gave an
insight into the level of speed, agility, explosive power (jumping) and specific coordination. Ttest
for independent samples indicated a statistically significant difference in tests SPR20M (t
= -3.11; p = 0.00), 93639OK (t = -2.47; p = 0.02) and TEHLD (t = 3 , 40; p = 0.00), and no
statistically significant difference was shown in the tests SPR5M (t = -0.50; p = 0.62) SPR10M
(t = -1.78; p = 0.08) and SKUD (t = 3.40; p = 0.19). Multivariate analysis of variance (ANOVA)
found a statistically significant difference between the group of competitors and the open school
(F = 5.336; p = 0.00).
