Abstract
U suvremenom društvu, na komunikacijske vještine se gleda kao na vrlo bitne aspekte svakodnevnog života i rada. Također, u sportu, pa samim time i u nogometu, komunikacija između sportaša i trenere postaje jedan od ključnih elemenata uspjeha. U nogometu postoje tri trenerska stila (autokratski, demokratski i laissez-faire) a svaki od njih karakterizira specifičan način komunikacije. Cilj rada bio je istražiti povezanost trenerskih stilova i komunikacijskih vještina nogometnih trenera Prve i Druge hrvatske nogometne lige. Kroz intervjue sa hrvatskim nogometnim trenerima nastojali smo utvrditi kako se odvijaju komunikacijski procesi u nogometnim ekipama te kakva je uloga komunikacije u svijetu nogometa. Na temelju devet polustrukturiranih dubinskih intervjua analizirali smo komunikacijske stilove hrvatskih nogometnih trenera da bismo vidjeli da li ih odlikuje autokratski, demokratski i laissez-faire stil te mogu li se ovi tipovi smatrati „ideal-tipovima“ bez međusobnog preplitanja.
Abstract (english)
In modern society communication skills are considered as very important aspects of everyday life and business. Also, in sports and therefore in football, communication between players and coaches is integral to successful sports organizations. There are three generally accepted styles of coaching in football (autocratic, democratic and laissez-faire coaching) and each of them is characterized by a specific communication style. This paper analyses the relation between coaching styles and communication skills among First and Second Croatian Football League coaches. Through interviews with Croatian football coaches, we tried to determine how do communication processes take place in football teams and the importance and role of communication in football. Based on 9 semi-structured in-depth interviews, we analysed communication styles in coaching between Croatian football coaches trying to determine if they are characterized by an autocratic, democratic, and laissez-faire style, and whether these types can be considered as “ideal-types” without interlacing.
