Abstract Unapređenje i očuvanje zdravlja populacije predstavlja jedan od najvećih izazova današnjice. Razvijene zemlje u okviru nacionalnih strategija iznimnu pažnju poklanjaju zdravlju nacije provedbom konkretnih mjera sadržanih u programima namijenjenim svim članovima društva. Navedene strategije temeljene su na usvajanju tzv. zdravih navika, pri čemu se osobita pažnja posvećuje tjelesnoj aktivnosti (Andrijašević i Jurakić, 2011). Moderan život, sve veći zahtjevi na poslu, u školi i općenito u društvu utjecali su na zapostavljanje nekih temeljnih vrijednosti ključnih za kvalitetu života, i doveli do hipokinezije (Andrijašević i Jurakić, 2011). „Tjelesna aktivnost prirodna je potreba čovjeka, nužna za očuvanje i unaprjeđenje zdravlja, a do druge polovice 20. stoljeća bila je i temelj privređivanja za život. Danas smo svjedoci potpuno obrnutog, štetnog trenda“ (Rakovac, 2019). Oko trećine svjetske populacije odraslih osoba ne zadovoljava minimalne preporučene kriterije za provođenje tjelesne aktivnosti potrebne za održavanje zdravlja, dok kod adolescenata taj udio raste na više od 80%. „Važnost ovog problema odražava se u činjenici da je nedovoljna tjelesna aktivnost četvrti vodeći rizični čimbenik opće smrtnosti u svijetu, odmah poslije visokog arterijskog krvnog tlaka, konzumacije duhanskih proizvoda i visoke razine glukoze u krvi“ (Rakovac, 2019). Kako bi osigurali kvalitetu i učinkovitost i smanjili rizik od ozljeda, sportsko rekreacijski program u fitnesu treba biti osmišljen i realiziran od strane stručnih osoba, kineziologa ili trenera. Cilj ovog rada je izraditi smjernice oblikovanja sportsko rekreacijskog programa u fitnesu. Također, naglasiti važnost sportsko rekreacijskog vježbanja i osmisliti fitnes program koji će objediniti postojeće preporuke i primijeniti istraživanja u praksi. Rad pruža sažete preporuke Svjetske zdravstvene organizacije o pravilnoj uravnoteženoj prehrani za koju je nužno da prati tjelesnu aktivnost, odnosno sportsku rekreaciju.
Abstract (english) Improving and preserving the health of the population is one of the biggest challenges today. Developed countries emphasize importance of general health of the nation within the framework of national strategies by implementing concrete measures contained in programs intended for all members of society. These strategies are based on the adoption of the healthy lifestyle, with special attention for physical activity (Andrijašević and Jurakić, 2011). Modern lifestyle, increasing demands at work, at school and in society in general have affected the neglect of some fundamental values crucial to quality of life, and led to hypokinesia (Andrijašević and Jurakić, 2011). „Physical activity is a natural human need, necessary for preserving and improving health. Until the second half of the 20th century it was the basis of earning a living. Today we are witnessing a completely opposite, harmful trend. About a third of the world's adult population does not meet the minimum recommended criteria for physical activity needed to maintain health, while in adolescents this share rises to more than 80%. The importance of this problem is reflected in the fact that insufficient physical activity is the fourth leading risk factor for overall mortality in the world, after high arterial blood pressure, tobacco consumption and high blood glucose levels“ (Rakovac, 2019). In order to ensure quality and efficiency and reduce the risk of injury, a sports recreational program in fitness should be designed and implemented by professionals, kinesiologists or coaches. The aim of this paper is to develop guidelines for designing a sports recreational program in fitness. Also, it emphasizes the importance of sports recreational exercise. It designs a fitness program that will consolidate existing recommendations and apply research in practice. The paper provides concise recommendations of the World Health Organization on proper balanced nutrition, which is necessary in addition to physical activity and sports recreation.
