Istraživanje obuhvaća mjerenje brzine izvođenja bazičnih testova (sprint, slalom trčanje, trčanje 4x10 metara i trčanje s promjenom smjera od 90 stupnjeva) i specifičnih motoričkih testovi (iste bazične vježbe s loptom).
Abstract (english) Football is one of the most popular sports that requires a high level of physical fitness needed by a football player. Such abilities partly depend on the anthropometric characteristics of the individual, while part of the motor abilities can be improved by training. It is desirable to recognize individuals with better motor skills for football at an early age, but due to numerous factors that influence the development of a top football player, there is no standardized test. The goal of the research is to determine whether the selected specific tests for evaluating the motor skills of soccer players distinguish young football players of a higher qualitative rank better than the basic tests.
The research was conducted on a group of 32 boys aged up to 10 years, divided according to their qualitative rank into selected and non-selected groups. The research includes measuring the speed of performing basic tests (sprint, slalom run, 4x10 meter run and running with a change of direction of 90 degrees) and specific motor tests (the same basic tests with a ball). The results were compared using the T test, Pearson's correlation test and multiple regression analysis. The results show that the selected boys have a statistically significantly better performance time of all basic (P<0.001) and specific tests (P<0.001) than the unselected ones, and the differences were recorded in the sprint (T test 3.68; P<0.001) and slalom ball handling (T test 6.04; P<0.001). All specific tests have a statistically significant correlation with the basic one (P<0.05). According to the multiple regression analysis, a higher speed of sprint running affects the speed of ball handling by sprint (beta 0.510; P=0.017), and the speed of ball handling by slalom (beta 0.442; P=0.032) distinguishes boys of a higher qualitative rank.
Based on our results, we can conclude that the selected basic and specific tests are good at selecting boys into competitive categories. Among them, sprint running and slalom driving the ball are good indicators of children with predisposition to football.
