Abstract
Diplomski rad pod naslovom "Sportski odnosi s javnošću: Analiza fenomena 'silenzio stampa' bavi se istraživanjem odnosa između medija i sporta kao društvenih institucija te njihovim utjecajem na svakodnevni život velikog broja ljudi. Posebna pažnja posvećena je kreiranju javne slike sportaša, koji su često smatrani društvenim uzorima i simbolima. U suvremenom društvu, sportski odnosi s javnošću igraju ključnu ulogu u oblikovanju percepcije sportaša kroz različite aspekte komunikacije u sportu. Fenomen "silenzio stampa" predstavlja interesantan aspekt ove dinamike a označava prekid odnosa s medijima, što se dešava kada sportski akteri ili klubovi odluče ograničiti ili potpuno zaustaviti komunikaciju s novinarima. Cilj rada je razumjeti pozitivne i negativne aspekte fenomena „silenzio stampa“ te njegove učinke na hrvatski sport i društvo.
Abstract (english)
This thesis titled "Sports Public Relations: Analysis of the 'Silenzio Stampa' Phenomenon" explores the relationship between media and sports as social institutions and their impact on the daily lives of many people. Special attention is given to the creation of the public image of athletes, who are often considered social role models and symbols. In modern society, sports public relations play a crucial role in shaping the perception of athletes through various aspects of communication in sports. The phenomenon of "silenzio stampa" represents an intriguing aspect of this dynamic, and refers to the interruption of relations with the media, occurring when sports entities or clubs decide to limit or completely halt communication with journalists. The aim of this thesis is to understand the positive and negative aspects of "silenzio stampa" and its effects on Croatian sports and society.
