Abstract
Cilj ovog rada je utvrditi interese prema sportu odraslih stanovnika otoka Lošinja. Istraživanje je provedeno na uzorku od 272 odrasla ispitanika; 131 muškarca i 141 žene u dobi od 18 do 74 godine. Opći stav prema sportu se utvrdio kao prva glavna komponenta matrice korelacija interesa prema 52 sporta iz upitnika PS2 F. Prota, te su se analizom varijance utvrdile razlike s obzirom na spol i dob. Pokazalo se da je interes prema sportu pozitivan u oba spola, te da postoji statistički značajna razlika u interesima između muškaraca i žena. Statistički značajna razlika između mlađih od 40 godina i starijih ne postoji, te interakcija roda i dobi ne proizvodi statistički značajnu razliku.
Abstract (english)
The aim of this work was to determine the interests of adult population of the island of Lošinj in sport. The study was conducted on a sample of 272 adult participants; 131 men and 141 women aged 18-74. The general attitude towards sport is established as the first major component of the correlation matrix of interest in 52 sports from the questionnaire PS2 F.Prota, and the analysis of variance implied differences with regard to gender and age. It turned out that the interest in sport is positive in both gender and there is also a statistically significant difference in interests between men and women. The statistically significant difference between adults younger than 40 and those older ones does not exist and the interaction of gender and age does not produce one.
