Istraživanje se provodilo na svim do sada održanim međunarodnim natjecanjima za slabovidne osobe, a odnosi se na Paraolimpijske igre od 1976.-2016. godine, Svjetska prvenstva od 1994.-2017. godine i Europska prvenstva od 2003.-2016. godine, te na osnovugodišnje svjetske rang liste najuspješnijih natjecatelja od 2003.-2017. godine. Uzorak entiteta sastoji se od 473 rezultata podijeljenih u dvije grupacije, pri čemu jedna grupa obuhvaća 238 rezultata slabovidnih bacača koplja kategorija F12 i F13 koji su se plasirali od 1.-8. mjesta u finalima natjecanja Paraolimpijskih igara, svjetskih i europskih prvenstava, dok druga obuhvaća 235 najuspješnijih rezultata objavljenih na svjetskim rang listama. Rezultati su obrađeni deskriptivnom analizom koji na osnovu parametara aritmetičke sredine, medijana, rasponu rezultata, standardne devijacije, asimetričnosti i izduženosti distribucije opisuju kretanje rezultata. Promatrajući finaliste održanih paraolimpijskih igara u razdoblju od 1984. do 2004. godine, prisustvo konkurencije je veće u kategoriji F12 u odnosu na kategoriju F13. Kod spajanih kategorija i primjena RAZA sustava bodovanja rezultata na PI u Pekingu 2008. godine, očituju se značajna odstupanja pobjednika od prosječne vrijednosti finalista. Pritom su kategorije F12 u odnosu na kategoriju F11 bile u značajnoj prednosti. Na IPC Svjetskim prvenstvima u razdoblju od 1994. do 2006. godine, utvrđena je veća srednja vrijednost finalista u bacanju koplja u kategorije F12 u odnosu na kategorije F13. Kod održavanja IPC europskih prvenstava u razdoblju od 2003. do 2014. godine primjećuju se podjednake vrijednosti aritmetičkih sredina i rezultata pobjednika. Provedenom deskriptivnom analizom svjetskih rang lista za bacače koplja kategorije F12, utvrđeno je da su najbolji rezultati postignuti na posljednjatri održana natjecanja Paraolimpijskih igara, te su pratili trend velikih međunarodnih natjecanja. Na svjetskim rang listama za kategoriju F13, postizanje najboljih rezultata je vidljivo u godini zadnjeg održanog SP u Londonu, te je najveći godišnji prosjek rezultata bacača koplja postignut u paraolimpijskoj 2016. godini.
Abstract (english) The main goal of this graduation thesis is to explain the system of competition and achieved results in discipline javelin throw for visually impaired athletes who compete in the categories F12 and F13. The research has been conducted on all previously held international competitions for visually impaired athletes, referring to the Paralympic Games (PG) from 1976 to 2016, World Championships (IPC WC) from 1994 to 2017 and the European Championships (IPC EC) from 2003 to 2016, as well as the world ranking of the most successful competitors from 2003 to 2017. The entity sample consists of 473 results divided into two groups, wherein one group comprises 238 results of visually impaired javelin athletes in categories F12 and F13 who qualified from 1st to 8th places in the finals of PG, IPC WC and EC, while the other group includes 235 most successful results published on the world rankings list, which refer to the best official competition results from 1st to 8th places in the competitive seasons from 2003 to 2017. The results were processed by descriptive analysis which, based on parameters of average value, medians, range of results, standard deviations, asymmetry and distribution endurance, describe the movement of results. Observing the finalists of the Paralympic Games in the period from 1984. to 2004., the presence of the competition was higher in the F12 category than the F13 category. Significant deviations of the winner compared to the average value of the finalists are revealed in the combined categories and the application of the RAZA point score system at PG in Beijing in 2008, while category F12 in relation to category F11was of considerable advantage. In the period from 1994. to 2006., at the IPC WC was determined the higher average value of the finalists in javelin throw in category F12 compared to category F13. During the competition of IPC EC in the period from 2003. to 2014., values of the arithmetic meanings and the results of the winner are equal. Based on the descriptive analysis of the world ranking list in the category F12, it was established that the best results achieved in the last three Paralympic competitions were followed by the trend of major international competitions. On the world rankings for category F13, the best results were achieved in the year of the last held WC in London, and the highest annual average of the javelin throwers was achieved in Paralympics in 2016.
