Abstract
Programima sportske rekreacije cilj je promicati sport i aktivni način življenja cjelovitoj populaciji grada Virovitice i upoznati građanstvo sa činjenicom da je kretanje odnosno tjelesna aktivnost put do zdravlja, a samim time i poboljšanje kvalitete života i produženje životnog vijeka. Također je cilj povezati i unaprijediti programe sportske rekreacije s turizmom kroz privlačenje domaćih i inozemnih gostiju u svrhu razvoja grada Virovitice.
Abstract (english)
The program of sports recreation aims to promote sport and active way of living of the entire population of the city of Virovitica and to introduce citizenship to the fact that movement and physical activity are healthy. Physical activities improve quality of life and extend life expectancy. The goal is also connecting and improving sports recreational programs with tourism through the attraction of domestic and foreign guests for the purpose of developing city of Virovitica.
