Abstract | Glavni cilj ovog diplomskog rada bio je utvrditi postoje li razlike u antropometrijskim karakteristikama između 135 natjecatelja seniorskog uzrasta (17 do 34 god) iz šest borilačkih sportova (16 boksača dobi 24,72±3,44 god, težine 82,83±14,25 kg i visine 181,63±8,37 cm, 23 hrvača dobi 21,05±3,64 god, težine 77,13±16,89 kg i visine 174,44±9,35 cm, 23 judaša dobi 20,25±2,83 god, težine 82,19±17,44 kg i visine 180,14±8,70 cm, 20 karataša dobi 19,18±1,14 god, težine 78,04±8,03 kg i visine 184,22±4,67 cm, 23 kickboxing natjecatelja dobi 24,12±5,09 god, težine 81,50±12,37 kg i visine 181,64±5,44 cm, 30 taekwondoaša dobi 20,76±2,88 god, težine 73,15±11,87 kg i visine 179,47±8,43 cm). Promatrano je 25 antropometrijskih varijabli. Obrada i analiza podataka obavljena je u programskom paketu Statistica 13 for Windows. Boks i kickboxing karakteriziraju više vrijednosti latentnih faktora antropometrijske strukture: longitudinalnost, transverzalnost i voluminoznost u usporedbi s preostalim analiziranim sportovima. Judo karakterizira viša vrijednost voluminoznosti, srednja vrijednost longitudinalnosti i transverzalnosti, dok hrvanje karakterizira viša vrijednost voluminoznosti (gornji ekstremiteti najviše doprinose tome, dok donji ekstremiteti pokazuju niže vrijednosti), srednja vrijednost transverzalnosti i niža vrijednost longitudinalnosti u usporedbi s preostalim analiziranim sportovima. Karate karakterizira viša vrijednost longitudinalnosti, srednja vrijednost transverzalnosti i niža vrijednosti volumioznosti, dok taekwondo karakterizira srednja vrijednost longitudinalnosti, niža vrijednost transverzalnosti i voluminoznosti u usporedbi s preostalim analiziranim sportovima. |
Abstract (english) | The principal aim of this graduation thesis has been to determine whether there are differences in anthropological characteristics among 135 senior competitors (aged 17 to 34) from six martial arts (16 boxers aged 24.72±3.44, 82.83±14.25 kg in weight and 181.63±8.37 cm in height, 23 wrestlers aged 21.05±3.64, 77.13±16.89 kg of weight and 174.44±9.35 cm of height, 23 judoists aged 20.25±2.83, 82.19±17.44 kg of weight and 180.14±8.70 cm of height, 20 karate practitioners aged 19.18±1.14, 78.04±8.03 kg of weight and 184.22±4.7 cm of height, 23 kickboxers aged 24.12±5.09, 81.50±12.37 kg of weight and 181.64±5.44 cm of height, 30 taekwondoists aged 20.76±2.88, 73.15±11.87 kg of weight and 179.47±8.43 cm of height). Twenty-five anthropometric variables have been observed. Data processing and analysis have been carried out in the programme package Statistica 13 for Windows. The data have been processed by descriptive statistics, and the differences among the groups have been analyzed by univariate variance analysis (ANOVA). It has been determined that there is no difference in the percentage of subcutaneous fat tissue among the observed martial arts. In the remaining latent factors of anthropological structure there are differences, which are not uniform and present among all sports, on the basis of which we can group boxing and kickboxing, judo and wrestling, and karate and taekwondo. Boxing and kickboxing are characterized by higher values of latent factors of anthropological structure: longitudinality, transversality and voluminosity, when compared to the remaining analyzed sports. Judo is characterized by a high value of voluminosity, an average value of longitudinality and transversality, while wrestling is characterized by a high value of voluminosity (upper limbs largely contributing to it, while lower limbs feature lower values), an average value of transversality and a lower value of longitudinality when compared to the remaining analyzed sports. Karate is characterized by a high value of longitudinality, an average value of transversality and a lower value of voluminosity, while taekwondo is characterized by an average value of longitudinality, and a low value of transversality and voluminosity when compared to the remaining analyzed sports. |
