Abstract
Prema pravilima Svjetske skijaške organizacije, Federation Internationale de Ski (FIS) sportovima na snijegu pripadaju: skijaško trčanje, skijaški skokovi, telemark skijanje, alpsko skijanje, brzinsko skijanje, freestyle skijanje, skijanje na travi te daskanje na snijegu. Za svaki od navedenih sportova na snijegu koristi se specifična i prilagođena oprema kako bi natjecatelj mogao pristupiti natjecanju u nekom od navedenih sportova na snijegu. Za svaki sport na snijegu koristi se oprema koja mora biti u skladu s propisanim pravilima FIS-a. Izrazito specifična oprema za pojedini sport na snijegu ima više funkcija. Prva je da omogućava sudjelovanje u samim natjecanjima u određenim sportovima na snijegu. Druga je da omogući iste uvijete za sve natjecatelje. Dok je treća funkcija opreme u svrsi zaštite zdravlja natjecatelja. U sportovima na snijegu na rekreativnoj razini koristi ista oprema kao i u natjecateljskoj razini. Međutim, oprema na rekreativnoj i natjecateljskoj razini razlikuje se po sastavu i kvaliteti. Odabir opreme na rekreativnoj razini ključan je za maksimiziranje efikasnosti učenja i bavljenja sportom. Adekvatan odabir opreme provodi se određenim redoslijedom. Počinje s odabirom cipele za sport na snijegu jer je to najvažniji dio opreme, a završava odabirom zaštitne opreme.
Abstract (english)
According to the rules of the International Ski Federation (FIS), winter sports include: Alpine skiing, snowboarding, cross-country skiing, ski jumping, speed skiing, freestyle skiing, telemark, and grass skiing. Each of the aforementioned snow sports uses specific and customized equipment that the contestant needs in order to compete. Each sport uses equipment that must comply with the rules of the FIS. Extremely specific equipment for a particular snow sport has multiple functions. The first is to allow participation in competitions for certain snow sports. The second is to allow the same conditions for all competitors. While the third function of the equipment is to protect the health of the contestants. In wintersports at the recreational level, the same equipment is used as at the competitive level. However, the equipment at the recreational and competitive levels varies in composition and quality. Carefully selecting equipment at a recreational level is crucial to increasing the effectiveness of learning and sporting activities. Adequate selection of equipment is carried out in certain order. It begins with selecting snow sports shoes, as this is the most important part of the equipment, ending with the selection of protective gear.
