Abstract
CrossFit je visoko intenzivan i raznolik funkcionalni trening snage i izdržljivosti koji je unazad dvadesetak godina postao vrlo popularan u svijetu. Glavni cilj CrossFita je razviti i podići na višu razinu opću tjelesnu kondiciju. To se postiže maksimiziranjem neuroendokrinog odgovora, razvojem snage pomoću funkcionalnih pokreta i treniranjem višestrukim modalitetima treninga. CrossFitom se razvija kardioraspiratorna izdržljivost, snaga, fleksibilnost, jakost, brzina, koordinacija, agilnost i ravnoteža. Međutim, CrossFit se često povezuje s ozljedama, pogotovo ozljedama uzrokovanih preopterećenjem. U ovom radu se prikazuje fiziologija CrossFita i utjecaj na hormonalne i metaboličke promjene te upalne reakcije. Kroz pregled znanstvenih istraživanja prikazuje se stopa ozljeda te koje su najčešće ozljede povezane s CrossFitom i preopterećenjem.
Abstract (english)
CrossFit is a highly intensive and diverse functional strength and endurance training that has become very popular in the world over the past twenty years. The main goal of CrossFit is to develop and raise general physical fitness to a higher level. This is achieved by maximizing the neuroendocrine response, developing strength using functional movements and training multiple training modalities. CrossFit develops cardiorespiratory endurance, strength, flexibility, strength, speed, coordination, agility and balance. However, CrossFit is often associated with injuries, especially injuries caused by overuse. This paper presents the physiology of CrossFit and its influence on hormonal and metabolic changes as well as inflammatory reactions. Through a review of scientific research, the injury rate is shown, which are the most common injuries associated with CrossFit and overload.
