The aim of this study was to determine the basic characteristics of the psychological coping skills of young boxers, and the relationship between the measured psychological skills and the variables: age, training experience and level of sports achievement. The research was conducted with the ACSI-28 questionnaire on 32 young boxers (4 women and 28 men) aged 13 to 18. The overall measure of psychological coping skills was expressed as a higher medium value (3.83). Young boxers showed the most difficulties with expressed anxiety (3.03) and with the quality of boxing under pressure (3.37), which were moderately expressed. The highest expressed for them were the coachability (4.55), which is very high, and self-confidence/motivation (4.39) and concentration (4.03) which were high. No gender differences were found in the expressiveness of measures of psychological coping skills. No significant differences were found between groups of young boxers of different ages in terms of psychological coping skills. Two significant differences were found in the variables of psychological coping skills between groups of young boxers with different training experience. The group of young boxers with the longest training experience (with 3 or more years of training experience) differed significantly from the other two groups of boxers with shorter training experience: they had a lower coachability and a more pronounced assessment of boxing under pressure. A significant difference was found in the coachability variable between groups of young boxers of different levels of sporting achievement. The group of young boxers with the highest level of sporting achievement in boxing was significantly different from the other two groups of boxers with a lower level or without any sporting achievement. They had significantly lower results in the coachability variable.
