Abstract
Obzirom na velik broj ozljeda u rukometu, cilj ovog rada bio je dobiti informacije o učestalosti i vrstama ozljeda u ženskom rukometu. Također su se pokušale dobiti informacije o tome postoji li strah od ozljeda te utječe li eventualni prisutni strah od ozljeda na rukometnu igru. Informacije su se prikupile anketnim upitnikom na uzorku od 69 rukometašica seniorki. Ne postoji statistička povezanost učestalosti težih ozljeda i igračkih pozicija no postoji povezanost lokacija težih ozljeda i igračkih pozicija gdje se ističe ozljeda koljena kao ozljeda koja se u većoj mjeri povezuje s vanjskim igračima i pivotmenima. Takve rezultate objašnjavamo specifičnim zahtjevima tih pozicija koji zahtijevaju od igrača visoke skokove i doskoke te rotacije u koljenskom zglobu. Strah nakon već doživljene ozljede prisutan je kod više od polovice rukometašica kao i mišljenje da je ozljeda utjecala na kvalitetu njihove igre. Ključ za prevladavanje ovih osjećaja leži u kombinaciji jake fizičke i mentalne rehabilitacije.
Abstract (english)
Given the large number of injuries in handball, the aim of this study was to obtain information about the frequency and types of injuries in women's handball. It's also possible to get information about whether there is a fear of injury and whether any fear present from injuries to the handball game. The information was collected using a questionnaire on a sample of 69 senior women's handball players. There is no statistical significance of the frequency of more serious injuries and playing positions, but there is a connection between the locations of more serious injuries and playing positions, where the knee injury stands out as an injury that is more often associated with outfielders and pivotmen. We explain such results by the specific requirements of those positions, which require players to perform high jumps and landings, as well as rotations in the knee joint. Fear after an already experienced injury is present in more than half of handball players, as well as the opinion that the injury affected the quality of their game. The key to overcoming these feelings lies in a combination of strong physical and mental rehabilitation.
