Abstract
Parkinsonova bolest je bolest poremećaja pokreta zbog smanjenja lučenja kemijske supstance dopamina u dijelu mozga koji ima veliku ulogu u kontroliranju pokreta. Nazvana je po dr. Jamesu Parkinsonu, koji je 1817. godine prvi opisao simptome bolesti. Bolest se razvija postupno, a najčešće počinje s jedva primjetnim tremorom, najpoznatijim simptomom Parkinsonove bolesti. Kako vrijeme prolazi povećava se i broj simptoma bolesti (tremor, rigor, bradikinezija, posturalna nestabilnost, smetnje u kretanju itd.). Unatoč tome što je bolest neizlječiva, lijekovi mogu značajno ublažiti simptome bolesti.
Abstract (english)
Parkinson's disease Parkinson's disease is a disease of motion disorder due to the decrease in the secretion of dopamine in the brain that plays a major role in controlling the movement. It was named after Dr. James Parkinson, who first described the symptoms of the disease in 1817. The disease develops gradually, and usually begins with barely noticeable tremor, the most common symptom of Parkinson's disease. As time passes, the number of symptoms of the disease (tremor, rigor, bradycystic, postural instability, movement disorders, etc.) increases. Despite the fact that the disease is incurable, medications can significantly alleviate the symptoms of the disease.
