Abstract
Moždani udar je klinički sindrom karakteriziran naglim razvojem žarišnog neurološkog deficita, a simptomi nastaju zbog veličine i mjesta oštećenja mozga. Moždani udar je jedan od vodećih uzroka dugotrajne onesposobljenosti. Stoga, rehabilitacija osoba s moždanim udarom treba početi odmah tijekom akutnog liječenja te biti nastavljena po rehabilitacijskim protokolima ovisno o težini kliničke slike u rehabilitacijskim odjelima, ambulantno ili u kućnim uvjetima. Rehabilitaciju provodi multidisciplinarni tim stručnjaka na čelu sa specijalistom fizikalne medicine i rehabilitacije. Tijekom procesa rehabilitacije koristi se neuroplastičnost mozga, facilitira restauracija funkcije, s ciljem ponovnog uspostavljanja aktivnosti dnevnog života i participacije u društvu sukladno zaostalom smanjenju aktivnosti i participacije. Ključni aspekti rehabilitacije su identifikacija i stupnjevanje smanjenja aktivnosti i participacije, postavljanje kratkoročnih i dugoročnih ciljeva, provođenje rehabilitacijskih dijagnostičkih i terapijskih intervencija, te evaluacija učinkovitosti rehabilitacijskog procesa. Kineziterapijskom intervencijom očekuje se poboljšanje funkcionalnosti bolesnika i njihovo kvalitetnije uključivanje u obitelj, radnu i širu društvenu zajednicu.
Abstract (english)
Stroke is a clinical syndrome characterized by the sudden development of a focal neurological deficit, and the symptoms are due to the size and location of brain damage. Stroke is one of the leading causes of prolonged disability. Therefore, rehabilitation of stroke patients should begin immediately during acute treatment and continue with rehabilitation protocols depending on the severity of the clinical image in rehabilitation departments, outpatient or home. Rehabilitation is carried out by a multidisciplinary team of experts, led by a specialist in physical medicine and rehabilitation. During the rehabilitation process brain neuroplasticity is used, facilitating restoration of function, with the aim of re-establishing day-to-day activities and participation in society in accordance with the lagging of activity and participation. Key aspects of rehabilitation are identification and degree of reduction of activity and participation, setting of short and long term goals, conducting rehabilitative diagnostic and therapeutic interventions, and evaluating the efficiency of the rehabilitation process. Kinesitherapy intervention is expected to improve the patient's functionalities and their better inclusion into the family, working and the wider community.
