Abstract
FMS ili Functional movement screen je skup od sedam testova koji se koriste za procjenu stabilnosti, mobilnosti i funkcionalnosti mišićno-koštanog sustava. Ispitivač ocjenjuje 7 testova od 0 do 3, a uključuje duboki čučanj, prekorak preko prepone, iskorak na liniji, mobilnost ramena, prednoženje iz ležanja na leđima, sklek i test rotacijske stabilnosti trupa. Cilj ovog rada bio je na temelju dosadašnjih istraživanja prikazati pojedine metrijske karakteristike FMS testova. Objašnjena je pouzdanost i valjanost tih testova, te uloga pojedinih testova. Osim toga prikazana su istraživanja o sposobnosti testova u predikciji ozljeda sportaša. Prediktivnost ozljeda diskutabilna je za brojne autore znanstvenih radova. Rezultati koji se dobivaju provedbom FMS testa nisu konzistentni jer obuhvaćaju parametre koji variraju među individuama. Iz tih razloga FMS metoda se bolje opisuje kao procjena kvalitete ljudskog kretanja, nego kao alat za procjenu rizika za dobivanje ozljeda. U ovom radu proveden je literaturni pregled znanstvenih radova u razdoblju od 1997. do 2019., te se interpretiraju sveobuhvatni rezultati koji su dobiveni primjenom različitih pristupa i autora.
Abstract (english)
FMS or Functional movement screen is a set of seven tests used to assess the stability, mobility and functionality of the musculoskeletal system. The examiner conducts seven tests and rates them on a gradation scale from 0 to 3. The tests include a deep squat, crotch overstep, line step, shoulder mobility ballet leg from a position of lying on the back, push-ups, and a torso rotational stability test. The aim of this paper was to present individual metric characteristics of FMS tests based on previous researches that have been made. The reliability and validity of these tests are explained, as well as the role of individual tests. In addition, researches on the ability of these tests to predict athlete injuries are presented. The predictability of injuries is debatable for many authors of scientific papers. The results obtained by performing the FMS test are not consistent because they include parameters that vary among individuals. For these reasons, the FMS method is better described as an assessment of the quality of human movement than as a tool for assessing the risk of injury. In this paper, a literature review of scientific papers in the period from 1997 to 2019 is conducted, and the comprehensive results obtained using different approaches and authors are interpreted.
