Abstract
Mačevanje u širem smislu označava Olimpijski borilački sport karakteriziran natjecanjem dvaju mačevaoca. To se događa pomoću planiranih izvedbi i sekvenci radnji na temelju svjesnih odluka, koje se nazivaju strategijama. Strateški elementi su akcije koje se sa strateškog aspekta mogu definirati kao napad ili obrana. U ovom radu ponajviše ćemo se baviti disciplinom mač, te ćemo ukratko navesti mačevalačku povijest i osnovna pravila za razumijevanje borbe u disciplini mač. Krucijalan dio rada su različiti metodski postupci za učenje i usavršavanje tri osnovna napadačka elementa u mačevanju: bod s korakom, bod s ispadom, i bod s flešom. Ovaj rad stoga može biti od velike koristi mačevalačkim trenerima, osobito mlađih dobnih kategorija u radu s djecom i podučavanju osnovnih mačevalačkih napadačkih tehnika.
Abstract (english)
Fencing, in a broader sense stands for an Olympic martial sport characterized by the contest between two fencers. This occurs by means of planned performances and action sequences based on conscious decisions, which are called strategies. The strategic elements are actions that can, from a strategic aspect, be defined as attack or defense. In this work, we will mostly deal with the discpline epee, and we will briefly explore the history of fencing and the basic rules for understanding epee combat. A crucial part of the paper are the different methodological procedures for learning and improvement of basic attack elements in fencing: basic attack hit with a step forward, hit with a fencing lunge, and hit with a fleche. This work can therefore be of great benefit to fencing trainers, especially the younger age categories in work with children and learning basic fencing.
