Abstract
Od početka razvijanja znanosti, ljude je fascinirao svijet oko njih i pojašnjavanje načina na koji on funkcionira. Iako su s početkom uvođenja teorije dimenzije- dimenzije koja bi pobliže opisivala prirodni svijet, matematičari naišli na velik otpor tadašnje matematičke zajednice, fraktalna geometrija je našla svoje mjesto u modernom svijetu. Fraktali nam omogućuju lako modeliranje različitih prirodnih fenomena, kako prirode, tako i strukture ljudskog i životinjskog tijela. Zbog prirode... More fraktala, naročito toga što se računalno iznimno lako generiraju, fraktali uvelike olakšavaju modeliranje svijeta. Priroda, nastala milijunima godina evolucije, pronašla je načine optimizacije svojih funkcija što ljudi i danas pokušavaju otkriti. Fraktalna geometrija nam pomaže stvoriti most izmedu prirodnih struktura i elektroničkih uredaja čije performanse želimo optimizirati. Iz fraktalne geometrije se takoder razvila i fraktalna dimenzija, novi način promatranja prirodnih fenomena. Ova otkrića u nedavno vrijeme su otvorila vrata mnogim mogućnostima. Less
Abstract (english)
From the beginnings of exploring science, people were fascinated by the world around them as well as explaining the way in which it functions. Even though people who started studying new dimension theory came to resistance of mathematical community, fractal geometry found its place in modern world. Fractals give us a way of easier modelling different natural phenomena, nature as well as human and animal bodies. Because of the fractal nature, especially they are easily computer... More generated, they are used for easy world modelling. Nature originated from millions of years of evolution, found ways for optimization for its functions which people to this day try to recreate. Fractal geometry gives a bridge between natural structures and electronic devices whose performances we want to optimize. Fractal geometry was also the ground for development of fractal dimension, new way of observing natural phenomena. These discoveries recently opened the door to many possibilities. Less
