Abstract
U svakodnevnom životu često se susrećemo s pojmovima zajma i kredita. Zbog manjka financijskih sredstava ljudi i poduzeća posuđuju novac najčešće od banaka, ali također i od drugih financijskih institucija. Kredit je novac koji davatelj kredita (vjerovnik) daje na korištenje korisniku kredita (dužniku), sa ili bez namjene, a koji je korisnik kredita obvezan vratiti uz ugovorenu kamatu u određenom roku. U radu smo se najprije upoznali s osnovnim pojmovima kamatnog računa i načinima obračuna kamate te financijskim rentama, a zatim smo došli do zajmova. Prikazano je pet najčešćih modela otplate zajma. Također je objašnjeno što je to interkalarna kamata i konverzija zajma. U posljednjem poglavlju istražili smo kakva je praksa u poslovnim banakama glede nekih vrsta kredita te smo na taj način zaključili kako se teorija zaista primjenjuje u praksi.
Abstract (english)
Loans and credits are something we often encounter in our everyday lives. Due to a lack of financial resources, people and companies borrow money most often from banks, but sometimes also from other financial institutions. A loan is the sum of money that the creditor gives to the debtor, with or without a defined purpose, that the debtor must return at an interest rate over an arranged period of time. This paper first discusses terms like interest rate measurement, ways of calculating interest, and annuity certain, before moving on to the topic of loans. It gives an overview of five most common models of loan repayment, and the terms intercalary interest and loan conversion are also discussed. The last chapter discusses the way banks approach different types of loans in order to see how the theoretical notions are applied in real life.
