Abstract
Ovaj rad analizira titranje žice primjenom valne jednadžbe i odgovarajućih matematičkih metoda. Razmatraju se rubni i početni uvjeti te se objašnjavaju osnovne karakteristike valne jednadžbe. Posebna pažnja posvećena je D’Alembertovoj formuli, kao i Fourierovoj metodi i Fourierovim redovima za rješavanje početnorubnih zadaća. Rad pruža uvid u matematičke tehnike koje omogućuju razumijevanje i modeliranje vibracija žice, s naglaskom na njihove primjene u znanosti i inženjeringu.
Abstract (english)
This paper analyzes the vibration of a string using the wave equation and relevant mathematical methods. It examines boundary and initial conditions, and explains the fundamental characteristics of the wave equation. Special attention is given to D’Alembert’s formula, as well as Fourier’s method and Fourier series for solving initial-boundary value problems.
