Abstract
U ovom radu bavit ćemo se modularnim rešetkama. Prvo ćemo definirati neke pojmove kako bi lakše mogli razumjeti temu. Pokušat ćemo objasniti vezu s podgrupama Abelove grupe, pokazati da s obzirom na presjek i uniju familija tih podgrupa ima strukturu modularne rešetke. Modularne rešetke početkom 1890-ih uveo je Julius Wilhelm Richard Dedekind. Svoju potpunu afirmaciju opća teorija rešetaka doživjela je u radovima Garretta Birkhoa (19.1.1911.-22.11.1996.).
