Abstract
Početak rada uključuje iskaz Pitagorinog poučka i uvođenje temeljnog pojma, Pitagorine trojke, koja se onda i precizno definira u radu. U radu se navode metode i dokazuju teoremi koji opisuju načine generiranja primitivnih i neprimitivnih Pitagorinih trojki. Navode se dvije metode generiranja svih primitivnih Pitagorinih trojki i dvije metode generiranja svih, primitivnih i neprimitivnih Pitagorinih trojki. Pobliže se promatraju svojstva pojedinih komponenti Pitagorinih trojki. Uz to, navedeno je nekoliko primjera u kojima se određuju Pitagorine trojke uz zadani uvjet ili se ispituju razna svojstva Pitagorinih trojki. Na kraju su iskazani posebni slučajevi Velikog (posljednjeg) Fermatovog teorema koji je usko povezan s Pitagorinim trojkama.
