Abstract Svrha rada: analizirati broj trudnica s hipertenzijom od 2014.
Abstract (english) Purpose: to analyze the number of hypertensive pregnancies for 2014 to 2016, compare the prevalence of hypertension in pregnant women with the number of pregnancy, determine the treatment and other comorbidities, determine the blood pressure, determine the presence of proteinuria, urea and creatinine, the outcome of pregnancy, the way of completing birth, the mass of newborns and to determine the existence of hypertension postpartum. Subjects and procedures: a retrospective three-year study included pregnant women on whom a nephrologic examination due to high blood pressure was performed, and which was recorded by the selected gynecologist or family medicine practitioner in the period from 1st January 2014 to 31st November 2016. Results: Most patients were between 30 and 34 years old and for many of them this was the first pregnancy. 56,5% of pregnant women were diagnosed hypertension for the first time in this pregnancy. 25,0% of pregnant women had no therapy, while the rest of them most commonly had methyldopa in therapy (39,6%). 73,5% of pregnant women were taking only one drug. 15,4% of pregnant women who were first diagnosed with hypertension during pregnancy had hypertension postpartal. No pregnancy was complicated by convulsions or by maternal death. 34,8% of pregnant women delivered before term, and 10,9% of pregnancies ended with abortion. 80,9% of newborns had more than minimum normal body weight. Postpartum hypertension remained in 15,4% of women diagnosed for the first time in this Conclusion: Most patients took methyldopa as well as just one antihypertensive. The percentage of premature births was not significantly different from the percentage of premature births in the entire population of the Republic of Croatia. The rate of abortion was not higher than the average of the total population. More pregnancies ended with caesarean section than in the general population.
