Abstract
Melanom je važan javnozdravstveni problem. Predstavlja najzloćudniji tumor kože i jedan od najzloćudnijih tumora u čovjeka. Nagli porast incidencije i smrtnosti od malignog melanoma kože primijećen je u mnogim zemljama svijeta, čak i u onima koje su prije imale niske stope (Japan). Prema podacima Registra za rak Republike Hrvatske maligni melanom kože sudjeluje s ukupno 2.8% u ukupnoj godišnjoj incidenciji zloćudnih bolesti. Porast incidencije malignog melanoma kože prisutan je u Hrvatskoj u svim dobnim skupinama. Prvi slučajevi se bilježe već u najmlađim dobnim skupinama, a najviša stopa je u dobi od 55. do 59. godine. Najčešće sijelo u muškaraca je trup, a u žena donji udovi. Također, postoje razlike u zemljopisnoj raspodjeli malignog melanoma u Hrvatskoj, a najveća učestalost se bilježi u Gradu Zagrebu. Najznačajniji rizični čimbenici za nastanak melanoma kože su: svijetla put, nekontrolirana izloženost suncu, obiteljska anamneza, nasljedni i atipični madeži, imunosupersijska terapija, hormonski čimbenici i Xeroderma pigmentosum.
Abstract (english)
Melanoma is an important public health problem. It is the most malignant skin tumor and one of the most malignant tumors in humans. A sudden increase in incidence and mortality of malignant skin melanoma has been observed in many countries of the world, even in those who had previously had low rates (Japan). According to data from the Cancer Registry of the Republic of Croatia malignant skin melanoma participates with a total of 2.8% in the total annual annual incidence of malignant diseases. Increased incidence of malignant skin melanoma is present in Croatia in all age groups.The first cases are recorded in the youngest age groups, and the highest rate is between 55 and 59. The most common position in men is the body, and the lower limbs of a woman. There are also differences in the geographic distribution of malignant melanoma in Croatia, and the highest frequency is recorded in the City of Zagreb. The most significant risk factors for skin melanoma are: light pathway, uncontrolled sun exposure, family history, hereditary and atypical mites, immunosuppressive therapy, hormone factors and Xeroderma pigmentosum.
