Abstract
Ospice ili morbili pripadaju skupini respiratornih zaraznih bolesti. Bolest pokazuje visoki stupanj kontagioznosti, a manifestira se kroz tri stadija. U prošlosti su ospice bile prvenstveno dječja zarazna bolest. Pojavom cjepiva značajno se smanjio broj oboljelih kao i mortalitet od ove visoko infektivne bolesti. U nerazvijenim zemljama svijeta mortalitet od ospica još uvijek je visok pogotovo u djece i predstavlja javnozdravstveni problem, dok u razvijenim zemljama od ospica uglavnom obolijevaju necijepljena djeca i osobe u mladenačkoj dobi. Visoki cjepni obuhvat koji uključuje visoku procijepljenost i u primovakcinaciji i u revakcinaciji nužan je kako bi se održao kolektivni imunitet, spriječilo izbijanje epidemije, te naposljetku kako bi se postigla eliminacija ospica. U radu se prikazuje kretanje ospica i cjepni obuhvat na području Grada Zagreba u razdoblju od 2007. do 2017. godine. Na području Grada Zagreba u promatranom razdoblju od ospica je oboljelo ukupno 142 ljudi. Provedena analiza pokazuje trend pada procijepljenosti cjepivom protiv ospica, zaušnjaka i rubeole na području Grada Zagreba od 2007. do 2017. godine.
Abstract (english)
Measles or morbili is a respiratory infectious disease. The disease is highly contagious and it manifests in three stages. In the past, measles was primarily a childhood infectious disease. With the advent of the vaccine, the number of patients, as well as the mortality from this highly infectious disease, was significantly reduced. In the underdeveloped countries of the world, measles mortality is still high, especially the mortality of children, and it is a public health problem, while in developed countries, measles mainly affects unvaccinated children and adolescents. A high rate of vaccine coverage, which includes a high rate of vaccine coverage in both primary vaccination and revaccination, is necessary to maintain herd immunity, prevent outbreaks, and to ultimately eradicate measles. This paper will outline the spread of measles and vaccination coverage in Zagreb in the period between 2007 and 2017. A total of 142 people were infected with measles in the Zagreb area in the reference period. The conducted analysis shows a decrease in measles, mumps and rubella vaccinations in the city of Zagreb from 2007 to 2017.
