Abstract
U suvremenom svijetu, cilj dentalne medicine je uspostaviti potpunu harmoniju stomatognatog sustava i nadoknaditi žvačnu, okluzijsku i fonetsku funkciju te estetiku narušene ozljedama i bolestima. U brojnim situacijama, protetski nadomjesci poduprti dentalnim implantatima pružaju izvrstan odabir u rehabilitaciji stomatognatog sustava. Komplikacije implantoprotetske često se javljaju, a njihova težina varira od blagih, preko umjerenih do teškim komplikacija. Mogu imati ozbiljne posljedice za cijeli tijek terapije i kompletnu rehabilitaciju pacijenta. Ovise o brojnim čimbenicima i mogu se dogoditi u raznim fazama terapije te nakon izrade cjelokupnog implantoprotetskog rada. Od izrazite je važnosti napraviti detaljan pregled i plan terapije kako bi se izbjegle komplikacije, a ako nastanu, pravovremeno ih prepoznati, reagirati i pružiti terapiju
Abstract (english)
In the modern world, the goal of dental medicine is to establish complete harmony of the stomatognathic system and to compensate for masticatory, occlusal, phonetic function, and aesthetics impaired by injuries and diseases. In many situations, prosthetic replacements supported by dental implants provide an excellent choice in the rehabilitation of the stomatognathic system. Implant prosthetic complications occur often, and their severity varies from mild, through moderate to severe complications. They can have serious consequences for the entire course of therapy and complete rehabilitation of the patient. Complications depend on many factors and can occur in various stages of therapy and after the entire implant prosthetic work. It is extremely important to make a detailed examination and treatment plan in order to avoid complications, and if they occur, to recognize them promptly and provide therapy.
