Abstract
Glavni cilj stomatološke protetike je vratiti pacijentu funkciju usne šupljine, uspostaviti estetiku lica, a sve radi unapređenja i očuvanja oralnog i općeg zdravlja, kao i poboljšanja kvalitete pacijentova života. Kvalitetan i funkcionalan dentalni protetski nadomjestak na samom početku izrade uz dobru pretprotetsku terapiju i preparaciju zuba velikim dijelom ovisi o dobro uzetom otisku. Ako je masa za uzimanje otisaka kvalitetna te svojim svojstvima određuje preciznost uzetog otiska uz tehniku i vještinu doktora dentalne medicine koji uzima otiske može se očekivati da će uzeti otisak zadovoljiti sve preduvjete za precizan prijenos stanje usne šupljine u dentalni laboratorij.
Abstract (english)
The main goal of dental prosthetics is to restore the patient's complete function of the oral cavity, to establish the impaired aesthetics of the face, all in order to improve and preserve oral and general health, as well as improve the quality of life of the patient. Quality and functionality of dental replacement at the very beginning of production depends mostly on a taken impression of the condition in the mouth and therefore it is of great importance to take the impression with the highest quality impression mass. If the impression mass is of high quality and its properties determine the accuracy of the impression with the technique and skill of the dentist who takes the impressions, we can expect that the impression will meet all the prerequisites for accurate transfer of the oral cavity to the dental laboratory.
