Abstract Buka je danas postala jedan od najvećih zagađivača okoliša. U fizičkom smislu opisujemo ju kao nepravilni mehanički val velikog intenziteta koji je neugodan ljudskom uhu. S porastom industrijalizacije povećala se i razina buke u okolišu, a time i štetni utjecaj koji buka ima na čovjeka. Buka loše utječe na čovjekov sluh, ali njen negativni utjecaj uočen je i u endokrinom te psihičkom sustavu. Buka uzrokuje nelagodu i smanjuje sposobnost rada i koncentracije pri obavljanju radnih zadataka. Zbog poznatog štetnog utjecaja buke na čovjeka nastoji se prilikom izgradnje stambenih objekata koristiti kvalitetnu izolaciju te time utjecati na smanjenje buke na prihvatljivu razinu. Diljem svijeta pa tako i u Hrvatskoj postoje zakoni koji određuju maksimalne dozvoljene razine buke i osnovne postupke za zaštitu od buke na pojedinim lokacijama i za određena zanimanja. Cilj ovoga rada bio je izmjeriti prometnu buku u okolici grada Rijeke, točnije u općini Čavle, tijekom ljeta 2021., preciznije krajem srpnja i početkom kolovoza, tj. u vrhuncu turističke sezone, na mjestima u blizini stambenih objekata koji nisu zaštićeni bukobranima te utvrditi zadovoljava li izmjerena razina buke propisane norme. Mjerenja su pokazala da je najveća razina buke zabilježena u petak popodne i u subotu u jutarnjim satima zbog najgušćeg prometa. Pored toga, izmjerene su razine buke, u blizini kuća, koje su veće od dozvoljenih vrijednosti te zbog toga smatramo da bi to područje trebalo biti zaštićeno bukobranima.
Abstract (english) Noise is one of the biggest pollutants in a enviroment today. Physically, it is an irregular mechanical wave of high intensity that is perceived as unpleasant by the human ear. With the increase of industrialization the level of environmental noise has increased, and thus the harmful impact that noise has on humans. Noise has a negative effect on human hearing, but also on the endocrine and psychological systems. Noise causes discomfort and reduces the ability to work and concentrate while performing tasks. Due to the known detrimental effects of noise on humans that occur during the construction of residential buildings, noise levels should be reduced to acceptable levels through the use of high quality accustic insulation. Everywhere in the world, including Croatia, there are laws that set the maximum allowed noise level and the basic procedures for noise protection in certain places and for certain occupations. The aim of this study was to measure traffic noise in the vicinity of the city of Rijeka, in the municipality Čavle, during the summer 2021., more precisely in late July and early August, or during the tourist season in places close to residential areas that are not protected by noise barriers, and to determine whether the noise level meets the prescribed standards. The measurements revealed that the highest noise level was measured on Friday afternoon and on Saturday morning due to the heaviest traffic. In addition, noise levels were measured in the vicinity of houses, which are higher than the permitted values, and therefore we believe that the area should be protected by noise barriers.
