The growth and normalization of facial aesthetics is significantly influenced by today's fashion trends that have developed under the influence of the media, fashion and celebrities that we can see every day on social networks. As a result, there is also a negative side to this specialty, which is the fact that people with unrealistic expectations can develop body dysmorphic disorders. The problem of cosmetic surgery procedures is present in the issue of candidate selection for a particular method, where we need to take into account the patient's health condition and history, the anatomy of the treated region, the patient's age, the realistic expectations of the patient, the patient's mental health, and considering all of the above, choose an adequate nonsurgical or a surgical method, or their combination.
